our stay at this beautiful apartment in hay-on-wye was even better than our previous visit. it provided a warm and comfortable home away from home, with high-quality furnishings and a spacious living area. we loved the modern interiors and the convenient location in the heart of hay. will definitely return!

Lack of shade on the garden table.

our second stay in hay-on-wye was even better than the first. number 22 on castle street was exceptional - every detail was taken care of, from suitcase stands to a sunny courtyard garden. the spacious apartment felt like a home away from home, and we can't wait to return.

    Parking was a slight inconvenience.

The apartment was clean and well-maintained, with fresh furnishings and carpets. The shower was spacious and luxurious, and having two toilets was a definite convenience. The location couldn't be beat, right in the heart of a charming town. the friendly locals and nearby amenities made our stay even more enjoyable.

There were a few issues that detracted from our experience. the lack of a full-length mirror was a minor inconvenience.

This charming flat in the heart of a book lover's paradise is a gem. the location is perfect, with independent shops and restaurants just steps away. the rooms are beautifully furnished and spacious, with a huge, comfortable bed and a clean, fresh-smelling bathroom. the owner goes above and beyond, providing thoughtful touches like a welcome basket with croissants, fruit, and jam. It truly feels like a home away from home.

Spacious and clean apartment with high-quality furnishings and carpets. The shower in the main bedroom was a plus. Great location in a lovely town with friendly locals.

A full-length mirror would have been nice. The lack of a parasol or gazebo in the garden made it uncomfortable to sit outside during the hot weather.

The location was great, with plenty of attractions and shops nearby. the host was friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and easy.

The apartment lacked a washing machine, which would have been a convenient amenity. tall guests may need to be cautious of the low beams throughout the property.

Our stay at Number 22, Castle Street was absolutely amazing! The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Hay-On-Wye. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom had a fantastic walk-in shower. We felt like we were walking into a home, rather than a rental. The owner was extremely helpful when we had a question. It was a truly cozy and lovely experience.

There were a couple of very minor points to mention. The flat is located above a shop, which could get noisy during the day, but it wasn't a major issue.

Located in the heart of a charming town, this cosy apartment offers a touch of elegance in every corner. With excellent communication and a warm welcome from the host, guests will feel comfortable and relaxed. the spacious and well, furnished interior provides complete comfort and relaxation, with high, quality furnishings and carpets. the apartment also boasts a large walk, in shower in the main bedroom and an extra toilet on the lounge level for convenience.

Parking may be an issue as the apartment does not have its own designated parking space. Guests may need to park their cars overnight nearby or use a larger car park, which is a five, minute walk away.

The location of this place was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of town. We loved being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. The spaciousness of the property was also a huge plus. It felt so much better than staying in a cramped hotel room. And the croissants, jam, biscuits, and fruit that were provided were such a delightful surprise.

While there wasn't anything we particularly disliked, we did have to be cautious on the steep stairs, especially with our age. It would be helpful for guests, especially older ones, to be aware of this beforehand.

The photos online really don't do it justice. Beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you need for a great stay. The bed was huge and super comfy, and there were lots of cozy blankets and cushions to snuggle up with. The location was perfect, with a car park nearby and lots of attractions within walking distance.

The low ceiling beams were a constant headache for me and my partner. We had to duck the whole time, especially my tall partner who had a hard time navigating the low beams.

The location of this property is absolutely fantastic. It is right in the heart of the town, with a lovely pub and food just next door. You'll also find a green grocers and a food spar a few doors down, so everything you need is just a stone's throw away. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and a fabulous shower. the kitchen is well-equipped, and the lounge is tastefully decorated, making you feel right at home.

The only minor drawback is that there is no parasol or gazebo in the garden, so there is no escape from the sun on hot days. this only becomes an issue during rare heatwaves, so it should not deter you from enjoying the beautiful outside space.
