Spacious and clean apartment with high-quality furnishings and carpets. The shower in the main bedroom was a plus. Great location in a lovely town with friendly locals.
A full-length mirror would have been nice. The lack of a parasol or gazebo in the garden made it uncomfortable to sit outside during the hot weather.

Our stay at Number 22, Castle Street was absolutely amazing! The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Hay-On-Wye. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom had a fantastic walk-in shower. We felt like we were walking into a home, rather than a rental. The owner was extremely helpful when we had a question. It was a truly cozy and lovely experience.
There were a couple of very minor points to mention. The flat is located above a shop, which could get noisy during the day, but it wasn't a major issue.

The location of this place was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of town. We loved being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. The spaciousness of the property was also a huge plus. It felt so much better than staying in a cramped hotel room. And the croissants, jam, biscuits, and fruit that were provided were such a delightful surprise.
While there wasn't anything we particularly disliked, we did have to be cautious on the steep stairs, especially with our age. It would be helpful for guests, especially older ones, to be aware of this beforehand.

The photos online really don't do it justice. Beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you need for a great stay. The bed was huge and super comfy, and there were lots of cozy blankets and cushions to snuggle up with. The location was perfect, with a car park nearby and lots of attractions within walking distance.
The low ceiling beams were a constant headache for me and my partner. We had to duck the whole time, especially my tall partner who had a hard time navigating the low beams.

The location of this property is absolutely fantastic. It is right in the heart of the town, with a lovely pub and food just next door. You'll also find a green grocers and a food spar a few doors down, so everything you need is just a stone's throw away. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and a fabulous shower. the kitchen is well-equipped, and the lounge is tastefully decorated, making you feel right at home.
The only minor drawback is that there is no parasol or gazebo in the garden, so there is no escape from the sun on hot days. this only becomes an issue during rare heatwaves, so it should not deter you from enjoying the beautiful outside space.
